Chapter 1 seeing you again

Katara was standing by a steam of water that was close to the camp. She bended some water and let it slide through her fingers. She was confused about everything. She was confused about what Aang had said last night when she was in his tent to look at his wounds. She felt confused about Iroh. He had escaped from the Fire Nation and joined them while they went to the Fire Nation. But the most confusing thing was Zuko. Every time when Katara thought back about what happened in the cave she started to feel sad and strange. She could still see Zuko’s eyes looking into hers. She could still feel his skin on her hand. Why did he betray her? She trusted him. Somewhere far away she heard voices. Aang and Toph had another fight. Katara was glad that everything was OK with Aang again and Iroh was teaching him Fire bending. She heard footsteps and Iroh stood behind her.
“Miss Katara, may I ask why your are so sad these days? Aang has healed completely.” Iroh said and sat down next to Katara. “Or…is it because of my nephew?” Iroh asked and looked over to Katara. Katara blushed.
“You are a good guesser Iroh. Yes I am worried about Zuko. What happened? I thought he had changed.” She explained and Iroh nodded.
“Aha, yes Zuko has changed. He already had before you and him where stuck in the cave.” Iroh said.
“But he betrayed me! How could he have changed?” Katara sputtered. “I mean he betrayed you as well. How can you forgive him?” Then Iroh smiled.
“ Miss Katara, I know how my nephew is and I know his feelings. I can forgive him because he did the right thing.”
“THE RIGHT THING? HE ALLMOST KILLED AANG!” Katara shouted. She couldn’t believe her ears.
“Miss Katara if you would listen, please!” Iroh said a little louder and Katara fell silent.
“Zuko has seen all kinds of terrible things and feels very sorry for all the families who lost people because his own mother is properly dead as well. Now about what happened in the cave. Not long after you and Aang left Azula turned up. She wanted to kill me so Zuko did as if he turned to her side but when she left Zuko freed me so I could rescue you and Aang. Only he was really shocked when Azula attacked Aang.” Iroh explained. Still this did not calm Katara down.
“But way did he fight, and why…” Katara said but couldn’t go on by the tears running down her face.
“I will get you some tea Miss Katara, if you would excuse me.” Iroh said and stood up. Katara snubbed and pulled her knees against her stomach and hugged them. Suddenly she heard something in the bushes and looked up. Till her shock she saw fire and blue lighting and knew it was Azula. Quickly she ran to the others and got everything ready. Then she felt something missing and touched her necklace, or where it had to be, it was gone. Quickly she ran back to the stream and saw it lying there on the ground. She heard someone scream and Zuko flew 5 meters, covered in blood, out of the bushes. He saw Katara and tried to stand up and whispered something that sounded like “Go away, quick.” But before Katara could do something Azula came out of the bushes as well and saw Katara.
“This must be my lucky day, first finding my stupid brother and now knowing where the avatar is. As dessert I see I can kill a water bender as well.” She said and point with her long nails at Katara, who made a huge wave but before any of the two could do something, pearl white flames were shot at Azula.
“Don’t…harm…her…A..Azula.” Zuko said furious and Katara was surprised that Zuko was protecting her. “This…fight…is…between…us!” He said and tried to stand up strait but fell through his knees. Suddenly Appa flew above them and Sokka toke Katara’s hand and pulled her up.
“No wait Sokka, Zuko, he’ll die if he stays there!” Katara said and Iroh looked down.
“Zuko.” He whispered. “What happened to you?” he asked but more to himself. Then blue lighting strict Appa and he was falling down. To get Appa strait in the air again Aang made Appa go zigzagging which made Sokka lose grip of Katara and with a scream she fell down.  
“KATARA!” Sokka screamed but she was lost and fell right into the fight between Zuko and Azula. She landed on the hard ground and guards surrounded her. But before they could succeed Zuko stood between them and shot white flames, which, made Azula and her guards, fly away some meters and Zuko collapsed on the floor.
“ZUKO!” Katara shouted and covered them in ice and walked into the deep forest.
